Is there any type of Gaming headset compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004??
i have been looking, and i found this ---> eDimensional AudioFX Force Feedback Gaming Headset
Will this work with my simulator?? I want it just for communicating with ATC, not for online play (something in my computer wont let me play online  ) |

If you want to talk to ATC then you should purchase VOICEBUDDY from the same company that makes the headset that you referred to above. I have used VOICEBUDDY for about two years and I have been very pleased with it. However, since I have 5 speakers connected to my computer, I often alternate back and forth between VOICEBUDDY/Headset or Keyboard/Speakers. 8) 8)

Well if you fly in a real cessna, you do talk, to ATC. There is a transmitter and a reciver. But when you are flying using FS you only need the reciver, and you use the computer keyboard for the transmitter.
If you want a very real experience using FS, get Voicebuddy. |
