Is this a brand new card that you installed ?? If so, you need to install the driver that came on the CD that came with the card.

Quick question... is this a prefab system? If so... what brand is it? Some prefab systems (Dell, Compaq, Gateway) can be very difficult to disable the onboard video and then install a new video card into them. I have a friend who has a Gateway and tried to install a ATI 1800 XL and it just would not accept it. Please let us know what your system (prefab or home built) so we can better assist you. |
