| I dont know.....did you think to maybe ask somebody? Being an instructor, your powers of research should be par excellence. One, the forum and the main site are two seperate entities. Two, only the admin can answer such questions or make any changes to permissions at the site. Moderators do not have such server level priveleges. I suggest contacting your credit card company and having the charge reversed. The Admin (owner) has been out of pocket for a while. Basically since he lost his infant. We are praying for him and his family and hope he returns or sends his proxy to maintain the site. Please dont think ill of Surclaro, it is all an unfortunate circumstance and there is absolutely no criminal intent with regard to your transaction. In the future, and I would recommend this to anybody, make the attempt to contact site managers or admin before involving yourself financially on the internet. Surclaro is not a scam, but unfortunately has this particular situation to deal with. Alternatives to Surclaro as far as download speed is concerned are: Avsim, FS2000.org, Simviation, and many other large sites available through common language search. |

| Well, obviously I have struck a sore spot here.. I was not aware of theses horrible circumstances, I also have been trying to contact the admin through the site I have sent 4 contact messages with no reply what so ever, hence my nervousness about my investment in the site.. Also this is the suroflight forums one would assume it would be as one entity.. I did also try and contact the admin before investing but I enjoy the site and what it has to offer so much I could not wait, my fault.. I also noticed that your reply was somewhat defensive, im am not an ignorant person, but my research skills are not that of a genius, I know how to research my second bible the far/aims, and that’s about it.. I apologize for the criticism, but you must understand from my point of view not knowing the circumstances, it can be angering.. I hope others see this post and become more educated on the issue... |

At the top of the main SurClaro page, does it say "You are logged in as a Premium Member"? Did you get an email confirmation of your subscription? Did you log in at all with your username and password? |

Hello Zed, When you join the SurClaro site, you are told that you can only download one item at a time because of the large number of downloads that occur on this site daily. It is nothing against you personally, it's the same for everyone. Because of the large number of downloads that happen on this site every day, we are only allowed one download at a time.
I may be wrong, but that's what I read when I joined this site. And that's all that I've been allowed to do since...
Last time I checked, I'm still no-one special...

if you are willing to pay a small amount of money, you get more bandwidth and can download up to 10 at 1 time, i have done it personally.
My computer caught a cold, and I was forced to put in a brand new harddrive and rebuild it from the ground up, and being that I had the premium account (pay for it) i could download up to 10 at one time, instead of the standard 1 that the brand new people were allowed. |

| Hellooooooo........Peopuullllllllll? The gentleman said that he has taken reasonable care to ensure most of what you are suggesting. Now, unless another individual has attempted to sign up for a premium account in the last 6-8 months, then you cant possibly understand his complaint. I, on the other hand, being of astounding insight (I carefully read his post) answered in as frank a fashion as possible. Of course I will defend the site, but I prefer to label it a consumer service debate wherein one individual poses a circumstance and the other individual tests it against their locality. I hope that either a)the system kicks in and gives up the bandwidth he has paid for or b)his financial provider of choice reverses the charges and he is not out his hard earned money. As to the site/forum relationship, yes they are both part of Suclaro.com as evidenced by the url strings. They are seperate though with respect to access and priveleges as a design feature of the programming. Basically for security and simplicity. |

You are right GS. I should have read more carefully. I stand corrected. Sorry.
It's no fun with you moderators always lurking around. You don't let us tell any good lies.
Since I'm stuck with dial-up and can only download 2.6 mb a month, I don't do it anymore.

| ok, I really am in no way upset with the site, or downing this awesome SITE in anyway.. all I said is a paid and never got what I payed for... my frustration is understandable.. and now I know the site admin is away for understandable issues... So I will not sue or do anything to hurt this site, that craziness was never my intention.. I think the problem was my email account simply deleted the confirmation email because I think it must have been diverted to my bulk email section for some reason.. the LAST thing I wanted to do here was to offend or make anyone angry I just wanted an explanation.. I don’t even need my 25$ back, call it a donation to the site I have already taken so much from for free... I just wish I could download more then one item at once lol but if you could please explain why my problem was I quote " then you cant possibly understand his complaint"... how could this be?? I have not been inappropriate or attacked the site.. so I don’t understand these very defensive posts, they almost seem to attack me personally..... or i have fully missunderstood at who ur last Post wus directed at |

| Not at all. Complaint does not in and of itself denote a negative presence, merely a negative outcome. It is gratifying to meet reasonable people in this world, lord knows they dont come through the front door at work..lol..! Whenever I hear the word "complaint", what I really hear is "excuse me sir, would you mind very much explaining why the result of my endeavour did not agree with the assured outcome?". Being an auto mechanic makes me a lover of puzzles of all kinds and always ready to run a diagnostic on whatever I am facing at the moment. Tempered with enough cynicism, however, to keep one foot in reality. |

Ummm, you would think to look at his location, on the left, under his avatar, as to where he lives.
Yeah, he lives right behind you on east 7th street.
