I have a small problem with some (not all) installed sceneries (NL2000's EHAM ) for example where the AI aircraft parked at the terminal buildings appear to be either crunched into the ground or floating thirty ft up in the air. Restart the sim and everything is OK, normally. I vaguely recall a post on this topic a long while back but can't find it anywhere. Still clunking along on fs2002 for the mo' if that is any help. Can anybody advise me and thanking you in advance. Regards.

Check this out....many of these problems can be traced to the scenery library order. The way in which addon sceneries are loaded can cause elevation errors (your problem), crash to desktop, FS system hangs and a few others that escape me at the moment. One of my first things to do when FS hangs is to move one of my addon sceneries up or down to force a rewrite of the scenery.cfg. If the problem is related to one scenery or area in a consistant manner, it may simply be in the wrong place in the scenery library order. Also, duplicate scenery/terrain textures can cause a little FS confusion. I remember there was a utility to find and clean out duplicate scenery/terrain textures.

Thank you for that, Groundsquirrel. I'll give it a bash. Was that utility FS Manager, by any chance?

Nope, FSManager is a fine utility, but the one I was referring to was a stand alone. Another case of shoulda logged it for future reference. My bad.
