HaHa perfect, this should be made a sticky or make one similar to that one for use here. But that really does clarify everything to all the new people on these forums.

he-he, I've seen and posted this up before. A looong time ago. Maybe one of us should add it to Exx's "First time........"

Problem is, most would still ignore it. I tried also to do the following concerning first posts.

http://forums.surclaro.com/ftopic6030.html

It still stands today. Can we figure out a way to make this happen, and maybe include the video???

I like the pop-up idea from the link you posted RD...and I'm sure it can be done.

Only problem is, without an Administrator...it's not gonna happen any time soon.

You guess they care, I hope so.

I do not even bother with the kiddies any more. Enough for me to do here.

good post

all thought im new here, i've been on many different forums before

dropmachine.com (mountain biking)
pinkbike (mountain biking)
a few roller coaster forums

but as a beginner i read over the whole ILS landing proceder but i still had a few question to ask that are my "personal questions" because i had a problem following the torturial.

remeber begginers to a game especilly a game like flight simulater here the learning carve is long and annoying will aske many questions because it is difficualt to get the hang of it. (think about it you were just starting and had now clue wat your were doing)

the "pros" here should be here to "or to expect" beginners to ask the same type of questions over and over only change it up a wee bit, and as respect should answer it to the best of their knowledge

so next time a "newbie" asks a question just imagine you being in his or her shoes

Thank you...Al
thanks

mcconnell,

While your post is genuine, you are missing the big picture of the thread. You haven't been here long, and that is fine, we like the newbies (for dinner).

Asking questions isn't really a problem. It is those that just come in, post a standard question, that if they would have checked the correct forum, they probably could have found their answer to it. Or searched the web to find what they are looking for.

The other point of this thread is posting the most hated title" HELP....PLEASE HELP, or HI, or INFO, and stupid stuff like that. If you don't know what your problem is, then you shouldn't be posting.

Also, some of us DON'T ask questions, even as a newby. Some of us take the time to learn the workings of the sim.

So, the next time a "newby" asks a question, I see how smart he is by how he started his post.
