| There are often various buttons on a yoke that make it easier for the captain (or Co-pilot) to do needy tasks quickly. But the main button you find on there is the PTT (push to talk) button for talking to ATC. Its by your hand so you do not need to move it in order to talk, taking your hands off the wheel so to speak. |

Can be a vary of different things.
A/T disconnect
Alway is PTT
A/P disconnect
TO/GA switch
etc etc
