picture's worth a thousand words..
Here's what I did. Loaded UKmesh. Loaded Bristol Airport Scenery add on.
Problem is unique to airfield following the load up. I used to know what to do but need a reminder if someone could help. Need some wise words
The elevation has obviously changed somewhere. What now? Afcad? mesh. :?

| I noticed what appears to be the "user" aircraft sitting properly on the ground. Could you give the filenames that you used? |

Groundsquirrel Hi!
The addon was - Bristol Airport_V3
The Mesh was - UK 2004 SRTM MESH SCENERY
Version 1.0
Hve just seen the following in the mesh README-
'KNOWN ISSUES
Some airports have minor elevation problems, and may need flatten files. '
...although have not seen the problem duplicated elsewhere. Just ran a few airfields with no AI probs.
I think I still need a word of wisdom. Flatten file? :? And why the user AC OK. I feel its an AFCAD thing but for that user ac thats confusing me.... |

| I had a problem with AI planes levitating above ground and I posted another thread about that. After posting my question I did some experimenting and found that if I adjusted the airfield's elevation in the properties menu in AFCAD it correspondingly adjusted the height of the AI planes on the ground. Find the AI file for your scenery in question and adjust the airfield's elevation and see if it helps. |
