Myself and a friend are in the process of PLANNING of making a microlight.
Firstly we need to consider a budget and materials of what we need. Secondly we need a design and idea of where things go.
Thirdly we need to find areas, such as scrap yards, to find engines and such like.
Finally we need to fond a place to fly it!
We were thinking of getting a hollow, light weight, frame with a motorbike engine. Then obviously a proper purpose built wing.
Any comments or help/advice would be handy.
Thanks in advance :D |

| For simplicity and cost, a delta such as a hang glider uses is probably best. |

| Hey... I've had the same idea! I've done drawn out some blueprints of what I want my microlight to be like. I'm trying to deside if I want autogyro or hang-glider-style delta wing. My grandpa and I have been working on it for about two years now, trying to figure out all of those variables. :? |
