Hello All,
Upgraded my mobo ( had the Red Sky problem). Graphics are now good. Now my CH Products Pilot Pro and Pedals do not work. YES, it's gameport. Used to work with the old mobo. Just installed new mobo, did repair install on XP Pro, and sevice pack 2, and ALL of the updates after that. Board did not come with a gameport so I installed a Diamond Sound Card with gameport. Device manager says gameport is functioning properly. Cannot calibrate Pilot Pro. Game controllers on control panel says that CH Products are installed "OK". Help please.
Cheap Asus A7N8X-X mobo (lightyears better than last mobo)
AMD 2400+ CPU @ 266mhz fsb
1 gig ram
Diamond Xtreme Sound sound card with gameport
CH Products Pilot Pro Yoke and Pedals
Windows XP Pro. |

If not what GS said, u might have to uninstall and then reinstall the program and drivers for the stick again.
I had the prob that my joystick wouldnt work properly either.
But the USB adapter i think is the best bet..... |

I do not know of a Gameport to USB adapter that will work with the CH Products. It is an apparent issue from previous searches I have done. The analog to USB has problems. Darnit, it used to work!!! I wonder if it's an issue with the Diamond product. Only tried 1 Diamond product in the past and had issues. I will also try the CH forum, but the support for legacy products is a little thin. Anyone else running gameport CH Yke and Pedals? Please reply. Thanks.

I doubt if the problem is with your motherboard.
I am using ASUS A7N8X Deluxe Mobo
ATI Radeon 3300+CPU
Windows XP Home
CH Products (gameport) Yoke and Rudders
I can not remember wheter the Gameport came with the Deluxe version or whether I purchased an additional device. I would have to crawl behind my computer cabinet to check. However, I am almost sure that the Deluxe motherboard came with a gameport connection8) 8) |
