I don't normally do this, but in this case, it needs to be done.
Liam: I have read every single post that you have made to this board to date.
I totally agree with Cloud Chaser!
I would not believe you to be a pilot if I was sitting in the right seat and you poked me in the left eye while on board the aircraft.

There are simply things that you should not claim to be until you are...

One of your posts stated that a mere 10 months ago calendar time line you had landed your Cessna 172, for your PPL with your instructor and he was talking to you about gliding, and that you went and did the gliding thing.
I find it very hard to believe if not impossible to believe that you could have acquired a total of 1,500 flight hours in 10 months to qualify you for your ATP license. I have read the regulations required under JAA as to what it takes to be awarded an ATP license.
You simply do not measure up to the time line.
23 years of age is the minimum age to be accepted/allowed for a ATP under JAA regs, you have mentioned nothing about single engine IFR ratings, multi-engine ratings, multi-engine IFR ratings, let alone single and multi-engine JET training with IFR, nor have you mentioned anything about your "possibly" (I am giving you an out) "frozen ATP" and even that does not agree with the time line of six to eight months it "normally" takes to pass the theory alone to be awarded a frozen ATP. No mention of specific training for the 737-800 Vs. the -400, they don't start you at the tops of the 737 ladder and let you fall down and ETC., ETC!
It just "seems" that you went from a 172 with a PPL 10 months ago to the top of the line 737 with a ATP rating.
If that is the case you are either a whiz kid or working with an airline that has no scruples when it comes to hiring pilots, and as a Engineer and Designer of the 737-800 and 737-400,500,700 I pretty much know that you were upside down in the post about the APU. If that is what Easy Jet chooses to teach then by all means teach it right up to the loss of an aircraft because some one didn't teach it correctly.
Summary:
I don't believe you are a qualified "PIC", you do not rate the title of "Captain", you are not well, anything as far as I can see. Nor are you a First Officer (Co-Pilot).
I would need to see logbooks, testing results, a letter from Easy Jet stating that you are in their employ, and a poke in the right eye where I am the PIC before I would believe you. And shortly after the proof positive, I recommend that no one fly on your bird, just in case I died en-route.
I have probably offended you and damaged your "self-confidence" factor, but you know what? GET OVER IT! PUT UP or SHUT UP and go back to being 12 years old!

I, for one, would like to know as well what possesses somebody to be that way. There are, of course, several psychosis that would present in such a manner. Just remember, nice and polite aint always right. If the devil himself were being the finest person in the world to me, I would still consider it my duty to treat him like the devil. Let the boy answer, he does have some answerin' to do. The very least he could have done was keep his story and his facts straight.

Well groundsquirrel, i aint a doctor yet....... but i am taking neurobiology, so therefore if you want a medical opinion, i will give you one.
The brain is a complex organ system, and as you have heard, specific sites control specific actions and duties etc. Now, one of the things that influence it so, are the so called neurotransmitters. We have few different types- in terms of make-up and what they do for the brain.
Now, you stated psychosis......... :) - awesome, becuz this deals with 2 specific neurotransmitters. Serotonin and Dopamine. Now as you know, there is alwayz a medium level for this to be at, and if the concentration goes above or below this "medium' marker, we start to have problems such as 'MPD' - multiple personality disorder, 'schizophrenia', psychosis, and i think a couple other are also related to these NT levels being off track n whacked up.
My opinion....... if it isnt MPD or pyshcosis, then i would point to bi-polarism.
*shrugs*

But i do agree on the whole devil in sheeps clothing remark..... that is very true.

I like LC, he has not messed my parade up. But I to would like to know about this timeline I noticed also.

Who said a man cannot overcome such obstacles that hold him back from his dream.

Case in point: ME. On the SAC flightline the rule was simply you had to be a 5 level (assistant journeyman, a SGT, (E-4), fully trained in all aspects of jet engine theory and safety.

Have your Crew Chief's blessing in writing to the Wing Commander, a full Bull. That letter passed on the to the 97th Bombardment Group Commander, a FULL COLONEL & AFTER ALL the signatures: pass a thorough & most difficult test.

Then have 2 QC officers sit besides you in the IP seat, and dog your steps. If you passed that, OJT was 3 hours training at the rate of EVERY DAY for 3 months. You take a written & oral test to see if you know your stuff.

I had a dream: NOBODY EVER at Blytheville AFB, ARK had received the certificate for +2 TB-Jet Engine Run qualified for complex in-flight discrepancies BEFORE they were a NCO.

So I set my sights on being the first. SEE the Commndation letter staing this fact on attached letter.

Written by my first Crew Chief, Sgt. Steve Folkes, Crew Chief
Aircraft 61-0324 on 7/13/77.

I DID IT in 6 months at age 20. My RANK WAS Airman First Class, (E-3) TWO STRIPES, with a promotion to SGT (E4) in 5 months they let me "TRY".

I not only was awarded the KC-135A "PW-J57-59-W" 4x Engine Run Cert, I also busted tail to get the Taxi Run Cert from the main flightline to the Alert Pad. A total distance using runway 36 of 3 miles.

SOUNDS EASY: IT IS NOT! Dangerous & $15 million in parts in your hands and an active runway you are tying to get across ASAP! BUT WHAT FUN I HAD!

So, for someone to say what we have all been thinking, I will refrain from the talk until LC explains it, I HOPE.

I well remember how many of "my friends" had doubted me for EVEN trying (let alone passing) to do this feat. It is a VERY complicated task!
You take 2.5 hours in safety & prep work for a 15 minute BLAST of Run at N1= 85% EPR= 1.25 on a HOT summer day!

Point of story--I will wait to hear it from LC. He will come clean or rub our noses in the truth, SO better like CROW--If we are wrong. HE might just tell US he was wrong on the dates.

For me to believe he is totally lying is stretching things a bit thin don't you think?

Now look at my letter, not trying to brag, SEE paragraph #3.
Now why could he not have done the impossible in Gatwick?
Thanks for hearing me out,

TomcatDriver

Okay, enough already!

There's been no response from "the accused" to my knowledge. Yet the blows continue to rain down!

When will enough be enough?

If the accused chooses to respond at any level, is there not enough room in our hearts to forgive? Aren't we more wealthy in forgiveness than continuing to kick a man down?

By what authority do we judge each other in these forums? There is no lawful authority that can regulate internationally in this venue. All we have here are our moderators. Some of them have good days and some have bad days. Good judgments, bad judgments. Apologies always come later after damage has been done.

Let's not take up assassinating one of our own.

In this particular instance, I am personally calling for "Secure Arms" and a big "Stand Down", and allow time enough for a response.

And let's remember that no blood has been spilled.

Be fair always. Please! Don't jump on a bandwagon for purposes of "riding a polecat out of town". This is not Tombstone, Arizona!

God knows we've had some individuals of questionable integrity on these forums that have made claim to some pretty lofty achievements.

Fortunately those of us intelligent enough to smell the manure are also smart enough to blow it off as either:

1) A youngin' just looking to be accepted by his pears and hasn't yet learned the "just be yourself" concept or...

2) Just an old guy blowing smoke and trying to make us believe he's been there and done it ALL.

In both cases, in the end...who gives *beep*. The only person they're hurting is themselves because instead of actually spending the time achieving their dreams, they're sitting in an FS forum making them up.

Okay RickT-

But I'll stand my ground.

Whom amongst us (excepting RD) hasn't run a litte afoul once in a while?

Remember taking your girlfriend out for a simple night ride in your first car? Remember that old 1954 Chevy Coup that would be worth huge bucks today---even though it ran like crap when you owned it?

Remember flashing that little "plastic" diamond ring (that you just bought out of some bubble gum machine at Walgreens that afternoon while you went shopping for your mother)--which your girlfriend fell for that night and let you squeeze things that she wouldn't otherwise let you squeeze? She gave up second base, based upon a lie! You told her you loved her. You swore that you loved her mother, too!

C'mon, fess up!

What things have you done?

"What male bravado style little stinkers have you told?"

Hey! I'm not perfect. I've told a few tales in my time when I was young. Lord help me if my tall things ever showed up here in these forums. Know what I'm Sayin'?

G'head! Cast a big ol' stone for yourself! Make it really count though! Do yourselves proud!

Don't be wishy-washy on the issue. Get tough! Be tough!

There's certainly no shortage of stones lying about....this much I know!

Where's our court of law? RD? The Big G?

WTH

Jaeg...

DO NOT, EVER, EVER, PUT ME ON A PEDESTAL.

I am not God, the Law, or the court. I am a Person.

Your "Ramblings" are noted, but only somewhat heeded.

I have my own thoughts of the "wannabe", but left it at the first two posts, as I really didn't see any need to. And I still don't.

I am totally bewildered, that you singled me out. That is/was, totally disrespectful to me and the others. Mods and members.

As for running afoul, I have more than you have posts. An Angel I am not.

As for your feeling that lc is being attacked, reread the posts. We just want an explanation, and/or the truth. If an apology comes with his response, then we will forgive the lad. But his integrity will be questioned for awhile.

I am not mad, just extremely miffed, that anyone would hold me so high, that if they really knew me, they know that isn't anywhere close to the truth.
