It's as easy as one, two, three.....

one...come up with a name

two...choose a plane to fly

three...tell everybody you have just started a fantasmagorical new virtual airline and you need pilots and staff

that's it, whether or not it will fly is anybody's guess.

I think the drinking age in the UK is 16 anyway isn't it?

VA's aren't as mysterious as people make them out to be. Making them successful, is. Right now it seems that South American or Euro-based medium to long haul airlines are what is attracting pilots. My own personal philosophy is if you give guys short interesting flights they will fly more. I've been using the master map from the VAFS to look at who is flying, what they're flying and from/to they are flying. It's sort of interesting...

http://www.vafinancials.com/new/maps/map_main.php

If you look at which airlines have the most hours and compare it to where they are flying you can develop a successful plan.

PM, that brings me a new look into things and tools that I never knew existed. Now I have something better than real world flights to look at to judge sim flights. Very cool! and thanks for sharing.
