Hi everyone.
I'm using fs2002.I've got a problem with all the airplanes when I go at high altitudes, specially when I'm flying at 31.000fts or over. The airplane doesn't go aligned with the heading. The airplane's nose doesn't go in the same direction as the heading. The position of the aircraft is similar to a crosswind landing but at 31.000fts.
For example, you set the heading at 360º but the nose is pointing at 330º.
I hope you understand my problem and get an answer soon because it is not nice to fly like this.
I also have problems with turboprops aircrafts. When i'm increasing the speed to take of, the airplane starts going to the left. I've tried unistalling the simulator and calibrating the joystick again but it is still the same. It only happens with turboprops.
Thanks.
Sorry if the topic has been repeated. If it is, I could not find it.

| the first problem is only with multi engine aircrafts. And the second problem is with turboprops only.

| As far as multi engine aircraft, it is common to not realize that you are not controlling all the throttles together as one. Please refer to the FS Learning Center available from the FS main menu. As for the turbo props, it could be due to engine torque...are you ramming the throttle all the way to the stop? You need to gently increase the throttle as you gain speed to avoid excessive torque reaction to the craft. Please consult the checklist/procedures for the specific aircraft in question.

| The first problem with the heading happens at high altitudes, once i've reach the altitude in the altimeter. But the two or four engines are working the same(as far as i can see on the screens and panel instruments). Up to now, the airplanes which i've used and have that problem are b737, b747, b767, b777,an embraer,... because they're the only ones I've used to fly at those heights. Thanks for your answer to the other problem...it may be what you say.

| Have you corrected for magnetic deviation/variation? I believe the default keypress is "D".

this is what happens. i will try correcting the magnetic deviation/variation.
i don't think there is crosswind at 31.000fts.

Winds still exist up there.
MY money is one high winds unless it happens every flight

That picture doesnt look normal. The plane is out of wack to the contrails. And high wind wont make a plane slide slip that much.
Do a test and go to high altitude, look for the "slide slipping" then turn 90 degrees to the right, and look for it again. Then turn another 90degrees and try again. If you see the plane slide slipping on all of the points of the compass then it isnt wind.
Also have the weather set to clear skies.
As for the props on takeoff, i agree with GS idea of engine torque

| Taking a stab with the turboprops. Usually it's because there are crosswinds during takeoff. If not, see how high your realism settings are set. If they're high enough, I believe some planes have a natural tendency to veer to one side because of the way the props spin.

I see your point heeshung, bit it looks a bit drastic to me.

everyone in this forum will want to kill me. the first problem happened because of the wind. but personally i couldn't believe a wind could produce that on an airplane. it also happened in all the flights i've been doing three or four days ago, all of them from different places.
the second problem still happening. i've tried to accelerate slowly but it stills there. i also tried with clean weather but nothing. i really don't have an answer for this. i'm sure this is not because of the weather.this only happens with turboprops, not with jet engines, and it always goes to the left.
really sorry for those who worried about the first problem...and it was just the wind.
