| Okay, are starting from a freshly selected flight/plane/location or a saved default? If you saved a default flight after shut down with the rudder trim off or the rudder deflected in any way your controls are not centered. Get set up, go to spot plane view. Pan around behind the aircraft (number 2 with num-lock on) and look closely at the rudder. Is it not centered? You can center all control surfaces EXCEPT trim by turning num-lock off and hitting 5. If the were off you will notice a slight movement as the control surfaces snap back to center. I always do a "walk around" and check control surface movement and center as part of my regular warm up. |

pressing 5, the turn is less but it stills turning to the left. if i press only once the button that moves de rudder to the right, the plane starts going to the right. it is like the plane controls are centered but for a reason(which is not wind) goes to the left. This happens when it reaches the 30knts. Once it has reached 60 it stops turning and goes straight but by the time it gets 60knts, the airplane is off the runway.
if you don't understand just tell me and i'll try to explain it in another way.
thanks |

Just when you thought you were a pilot, we tell you to buy an oar.
and "Mae-Wests"
Welcome to high-altitude flying.
Remember, the Earth rotates FROM WEST TOWARDS>> THE EAST.
The PREVAILING winds and JETSTREAM are also MOVING FROM WEST TO EAST. Unless a major storm in area.
So you will always have a wind direction, a given wind speed, & maximum gusts of a certain speed.
Now, learn to be a yachtsman. Like in a sailboat, YOU MUST "TAC"
(ZIG-ZAG) to move forward to your target if your heading is into the wind.
Tac left, tac right. back and forth. Slowly but surely, you will arrive.
IF you know your nav math like TRIG, basic shop math, etc.
Mr. Squirrel is on the dot about Magnetic Variance, STUDY THIS!
