DJMickey haveyou ever thought that maybe you haven't set the flaps to the right setting for take-off, the runway is too short because Concorde needs a much longer runway than smaller, slower planes obviously also makes sure you do not have your spoilers armed or that you have autopilot on. Ny the way which Concorde download is it because if it comes from somewhere like FSfrance.com(I think thats the website) then it is very unlikely to be the model!
Hope I could Help!

Another possibility is your payload. I downloaded a 747 and couldn't get it to take off for anything. I looked at the payload and for some reason the default payload was set at 60,000 lbs over the limit. I reduced it and that corrected the problem.

Hi guys new member here! I was wondering what do you mean by flaps & spoilers Concorde has none of these! you can droop the nose so you can see the runway better. Also you may need to centre you CG on Concorde or you may need to set you trim hope i could help further more. Very Happy

If you are on the runway or where ever, click the menu bar (or press alt to display this bar if you are in full screen) where it says "aircraft." The options will be to change the aircraft, adjust fuel/payload, realism settings and failure menu. But you want to adjust the fuel/payload, so click it an it will bring up a box. You can then adjust the payload.

John BAC there is something I do not understand. If Concorde has no spoilers, how do the brakes become effective when it touches down. Does anyone remember flight 1420? The pilot forgot to arm the spoilers and the pilots were under enough stress as it because of various other things and the plane went zooming off the runway and kept going until it finally haulted in a river bank.

I have not heard of the incedent il have to look it up! Anyway Concorde slows down using standard brakes but also has the use of reverse thrust witch helps alot with slowing down. But Concorde's always a challenge to land with the nose being so high and coming in at such a fast speed it easy to misstake the runway length! Hope ive help clear up a few things about how concorde truely works.[/img]

As a concorde pilot I had to add a reply to this take off problem. Most of the answers are correct. payload including fuel and weather will have a factor on aircraft performance. The visor must be set to five degrees for take-off more will create to much drag, don"t forget to use afterburners and obviously runway length. good Luck Wink

Yep mans right you may have made I stupid mistake like me in FS2000 trying to takeoff ffrom Meigs with full full visor up and no afterburner LOL! You just need to learn what Configureation concorde flys at during Takeoff & Landing. Wink

Question

I tried what you said about the fuel/payload but only fuel comes up with Left, Centre, Right and Centre 2. It does have a weight in lb. is that what u mean by the payload. do i change that? if i do that means i will ahve less fuel. is this correct??

Thanx
