Hello All,

I just purchased a new computer yesterday and today just got around to transfering my file accross from the old computer.

The problem is that where the setting files ie rewards, last flight, mission and logbook files where on the old computer running XP, Iam sure it was C:\ Documents and settings\User\Application Files\Microsoft\FSX, where these file used to be. But when I goto the new computer to reinstall them there, the folder or location is not there. Everything else is the same, the main folder ie Scenery, Simobjects, Gauges etc and the picture files seem to goto your personal document folder instead of pictures folder(but that no problem).

What Iam trying to acheive here is to reload all my rewards and mission status files back in and some other smaller files.

Ive tried to do a search for the files on vista that I know where on XP so then I can back track them to there folder, but no luck.

I have had no other problems with the vista (so Far).

If someone could please direct me that would be great.

Thanks in advance

Wayne

not sure if this is what you were having trouble with, but what the heck

my Microsoft Flight Simulator X Files (containing photos, rewards, flight logs, etc) are also in my documents- in a folder aptly named "Flight Simulator X Files"

here's the filepath thingy that i had

C:\Users\Tim\Documents\Flight Simulator X Files

Hey,

I tried to put the files in there but no luck. The only files that picked up were the pictures.

Thanks

I will keep on looking
