514th Virtual Air Mobility Wing
The 514th Virtual Air Mobility Wing is a virtual military "airline" that operates from McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey. We are partnered up with Atlantic City's 177th Fighter Wing (http://177th.bravehost.com). Our main goal is to provide a realistic, professional, and extremely FUN environment to the flight simulation world while we simulate real-life missions, operations, attacks, transports, refueling and covert ops.
The mobility wing is in charge of transporting materials, personnel, aircrafts, weapons etc... along with taht we handle Mid-Air refueling with the KC-135E Stratotanker. to top it off our state-of-the-art technology allows us to utilize the Boeing AWACS aircraft to use for recon for our weekly missions.
Our Fleet:
C-17 Globemaster III (for Transporting personnel, materials etc...)
KC-135E Stratotanker (for Mid-Air Refueling)
Boeing AWACS (for long-range Mid-Air Recon)

Why join?
Have you ever been interested in virtual military flying, but didn't necessarily have the appropriate amounts of time to fly HUGE missions? did you not have the time to LEARN all of the specifics for flying, and takeoffs from aircraft carriers etc... Did you hate having to go through 6 weeks or more of "training" before being able to fly missions.
Even worse, did you have to dedicate hours every week in order to "stay active"? What about you? did you get anything out of it? was it too complicated? Well, with the 514th Virtual Air Mobility Wing and our counterpart, the 177th Fighter Wing, we don't require the hard tedious work. We don't require weeks upon weeks of training. We don't even require tons of time from you.
At the 514th and 177th we offer YOU the chance to explore your military flight dreams. We OFFER training, and we PROVIDE you will the best aircrafts, and best user-help that we can provide. We aLLOW you to fly as often as you can, but no more. We ENCOURAGE you to have tons of fun.
You see.... this is everything all of those other groups aren't. 514th is an amazing mobility wing simulation, and it comes to you on FS2004 and FSX. Currently hosted at Hawkflyers.com (along with 177th Virtual Fighter Wing), we have weekly, if not daily flights for fun, missions, and practice.
We'd love to see you on Hawkflyers wiht us and we'd love to see you in our great virutal military group. So... what are you waiting for? Scroll back up and click on that link if you haven't.
The 514th is waiting for the best... we're waiting for YOU!

Email 'addy' is short for email 'address'. |
