| Since FSX has done away with the VIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT=XX,YY,ZZ lines in the panel.cfg, is there a way to specify eyepoints or camera views or whatever in either the panel or aircraft cfg files to change the viewing angle for certain directions when using the 2-D view in the cockpit. What I am want to do is make it so that you can actually see something when using the 2-D cockpit. For example, it is impossible to see what is directly ahead of you in the 2-D cockpit of the default grand caravan. The horizon is well below the top of the panel. If I reset the eyepoint higher in the aircraft.cfg file so that I can finally see the horizon then I can't see anything out of the side windows because the top of the window frame blocks my view. What I want to do is set an eyepoint and angle for each direction in the 2-D cockpit or set a camera angle or whatever needs to be set to fix this problem so that I can actually see out of the windows when I move the hat switch around. There are other aircraft that suffer from this problem. I am using the caravan as an example. Yes I do know about hitting the w key to go to the minipanel but I want to fix the larger panel as well. |
