What on earth does Shift M do in FS9?
I know what it does to my plane and it's not pretty.
But I can't find a description of its function in any list of keyboard commands.
Apparently, the only way to get out of what it does is to hit Shift M again. I had a really exiting ride till I finally figured that one out. But where is a description of what it does?
Thanks

Unless you assigned "shift+M" to something else, it is the shortkey to turning on/off your master power and alternator/generator.

The 'bad word filter' in these types of boards can be hilarious (if you're in a good mood when you get bleeped ). 'Ass' you can get away with but forget trying to type 'aarrsseennaall'. (I can only allude to the bleeped word by double-typing each letter.)
My funniest one so far was when I got bleeped for typing "it's a 'bbiitt cchhiillyy'".......no way was I going to get away with typing 'bbiittcchh', even when I wasn't trying to say it! |

You also have to becareful with the word "me". If you use it next to the right word, "me" will be "bleep".
