I have a brand new Compaq Presario SR2030NX With an AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3800+ 1GB of RAM with Windows XP MCE. I cannot get good graphics on Flight Simulator X. I have got a nVidia GeForce 6150 LE Graphics Card. I have FSX Set to 18fps Aircraft Ultra High, Weather Medium Low, Traffic Minimal, Scenery Medium low. The FPS is average about 12fps. The computer is stock and it has the oem os and everything. Brand New. I've had Vista Home Premium on it and it did not work very well with FSX. I really need Aircraft to display as ultra high. Also I have antitrophic filtering and that's it. Please Help Me.

Everything in FSX is a trade off, you might be able to get ultra high out of the aircraft by further reducing the remainder of the settings by a notch. Then I know the argument, every thing else looks not so good.

Those frames sound about right for the system you're running.

Don't expect GREAT graphics from a 6150. This is an integrated card, yes?

So you can't get good graphics with that rig?? WOW, SURPRICE!!! Not at all. I have yet to see some rig that can run FSX at full graphics WITH decent frames.
And with that gfx card and ram, you ain't going to.
Have you tried some of the several tweaks around? |
