That must have been scary. Don't you apply opposite aeleron and rudder in a glider to recover from a spin?
(I almost stalled on my approach to KSHD in a Piper Cherokee and that kinda scared me)

Yes, that's what you do to recover from a spin. I didn't know at that time (the instructor's mistake, he should have taught it to me before that lesson according to the student book)

Okay, that sounds pretty scary too! What about a new thread with that history? I would enjoy it Razz
