First thing you are doing wrong is not passing the check rides in the "lessons" portion of the simulator. These types of issues are addressed in them.
There is really no way to answer your question, without more information.
Please go through the landing tutorial for ILS and see if it helps, as well as the others. |

Hi br09,
You may have a panel glitch .At about 50 nm I have the GPS screen up so that I can watch progress .Are you coming down to the altitude ATC has said or about to .Have you reduced speed ,lowered the flaps and gear .When you get just inside the 20nm ring on the GPS screen and above the aeroplane then press the App button .Sometimes ,not often, the light goes out on the Alt indicator if this happens I immediately switch it on again ,the aircraft begins to descend at about the outer marker ,blue flashing thingy on the panel .Is your panel GPS/NAV switch on NAV .Have you tuned your radio to the runway ILS frequency beforehand.Your aircraft should then go to touchdown without any more input from you, mine does. boldpilot |

Thanks Bold...
Another attempt to have some one LEARN what they are doing versus being spoon fed the information they need to land an aircraft dashed.
I guess I'll see ya at the next smoking hole in the ground.
Motion to lock the thread? |
