Can't hurt to try. I believe the folder structure and names are somewhat different for FSX, but with a bit of trial and error and research maybe it can be done. Just for fun I'll have a search around for FSX zeps and link you up if any are found. |

| You weenies....did anybody think to go to the Surclaro downloads library and type zeppelin into the search field? If they had they would have found a very nice 2k4 zeppelin and even a couple of panels for it. |

Weenies, hee hee hee. I found all kinds of airships (O.K., two or three) for FS2004....I was looking for FSX airships smartypants, as was our FSX blimp-denied simmer. |

| I understand that, the point was "have you tried to port an Fs9 zep' into FSX?", for which people were having a hard time finding the good ole zeppelin. So, now we all know where she is and if somebody wants to have a go at it, they can try her out in FSX. I would avoid using the panel initially as I doubt it is all xml. |

well, if you want to try the 2k4 zepplin / blimp in FSX... just put the "aircraft in question" in ?? \ ?? \ MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR X \ SIM OBJECTS \ AIRCRAFT
the GUAGES still go to GUAGES
EFFECTS to EFFECTS
and *** AFTER *** you have it installed, and it works for you .... take a flight in it, take a screen shot that you like, and then save that screenshot as "thumbnail" (without the " " symbols) in the aircrafts folder so that it will allow you to actually see what the Craft is in the selection menu.
hope this helps.
EDIT by RD: DO NOT USE THE GAUGES. |
