Hi Again,

I have been trying to get a smoke effect that works the way you want ti to. I tried the EFFX file and switched all the lights on only to find nothing. I have downloaded Nick's Exhaust but it still seems complicated. Has Microsoft developed anything for FSX. Would be nice to see them thinking about the way we like to see things.

Any help would be greatfully received.

Supply the link and file name from where you got the effect, maybe then we can help.

You have to hit the " I " key to make smoke appear. " I " is the on/off switch for smoke. Not the lights key.

Also, I hope you didn't put it in the lights section. If you did, and the download said to, then there is a gauge that makes it work. Reread the readme to find out more.

The site was FSDome.com FS2004 Uttilities/Misc and the file was "the effx.zip"

Everything was installed correctly so if I have no luck, I will be trying to get to grips with something else.

I am not sure, but this effect may only apply to AI Traffic, here is a copy of the readme doc.

Welcome

This is property of D. Young 2007 | dannyboy2005 | micky_mouse007

You may want to dray the folder "The Effects" to the desktop for a clean install!

The default aircraft have been installed with this effect and if you have Ultimate Traffic, this effect also has been installed to ultimate traffic AI.

Look out for V 1.50

If there are any bugs or problems with the programe or if you want to suggest something then please contact me:

Have fun

P.s. YOU MUST HAVE THE AIRCRAFT LIGHTS ON FOR THIS EFFECT TO WORK, SOME, IF NOT MOST SIMMERS FLY WITH THE AIRCRAFT LIGHTS ON. ITS GOOD PRACTISE TO FLY WITH THEM ON, AND FOR YOUR OWN SAFTEY OF COURSE.

In the next update/version (V1.50) i'll include updates for POSKY and PMDG.
