Clearance granted RD, it's a pleasure to engage your services again, it's been a while. You aren't required to digest the manual immediately, but you might want to take it with you on your first flight. Make it a long one, and be sure to return to this airport for as many VTOL's as you like today, the entire facility has been secured for as long as you need it so. There is an identical WASPV in a secured hanger not far from you, and Groundsquirrel has been similarly briefed, you will be sharing airspace with him, and the armed landing perimeter will be duplicated at his LZ. My strong suggestion is that eventually the both of you take a flight together and compare notes. You know what you have to do, I look forward to your feedback and customarily superb enhancements.

Tower Command: "Romeo Delta, you have clearance to VTOL when ready."
RD: "Roger that. Advise all personell to move back 100 meters. I don't know what she'll do to me or the others, when I punch it."
TC: "Understood, Romeo Delta." To Fleet Marine Force, "FMF, stand down and give this thing some room. Romeo Delta has been given clearance to VTOL. Watch out down there."
FMF: "Did you say Romeo Delta??? May God help us all".
And hey, not too bad on the 2000 view goal....I just figured people's tolerance level for 'yapping and no product yet' would come in around 2000 views. My tolerance level for this pig was getting pretty thin too folks... BUT IT'S DONE!!!!
I liked checking on this thread everyday for updates. So I woul not have minded if it lasted longer.
Groundsquirrel has undertaken some specialized 'panel and views' work as an extra favour....he's so right - the generic Lear panel did this thing no justice.
RD is a busy man but has logged some hours flight testing and weapons testing, and may be of further service with his expertise regarding weapons FX in FS9, just before release time.
Wing and mid-body art variations from guest artists may or may not be available at release time, she might just ship as 'WASPV SECURITY 04'.
The wings are very paintable, especially with layer work...and there could be some really cool variations as repaints, that would be an honour.
I might just add a strobe to the tail-end of the tail-end....there's already a great Navblu from Tomcatdriver there, and another strobe flashing as emergency lights is just perfect. (I eliminated a few other lights I didn't care for and freed up a few light 'spots' in the .cfg.)
Talk soon...roundabouts the same time G.S. is wrapping up all this awesome panel stuff, I'll do a final package-up, and one last re-rest of everything....zip-up, unzip, retest - UPLOAD!! I figure I'll go Avsim and Simviation. It's pretty cool when I go to Avsim to see how many hits but I've d'loaded from Simviation for years....I love their interface and variety...and it will be a pretty neat thing to see the WASPV on their 'FS9 Misc.' pages!!!
Thanks Mel, it may be a hit, and it may just end up filling 'Delete' bins across the land! Either way, a lot of folks will be able to say, "You'll never guess what I flew today."

oh SU, if you only knew how good it is.
Man, you should have seen the movie I had of it. Key word here is "HAD".
While in my office enjoying the video I had made of my test flights of the WASPV, Hark's guy (the tall, skinny one with neo geeko lenses), just happened to walk in, unannounced. Took me a couple minutes to realize I was on the ceiling, and he was on the floor.
Any ways, when I got down, he questioned me if that was the WASPV. I said "yeah, why??". The only answer I got was four lead slugs in my rig.
Note to self: Put a GPS tracking bug on the creepy dude.
