Hey Simmers!
Anyone else having a problem with ActiveSky and winds aloft?? Seems the server is down or maybe it's something I've done on my PC??
Cheers in advance,

Hey Exxman, are you just installing it or is it just starting to have problems?
Check FS2004, Settings/Weather, make sure the Download winds aloft data box is checked, disable turbulance box is not checked, and move slider to "None".
In my ActiveSky Options menu I have the following checked:
Online Updates
Play Startup Sound
Voice ATIS/Flightwatch
Use System Time
Auto Time Zone Detect
Wake Turbulance
Visibility Smoothing
Limit Cloud Layers
Cloud Layer Limit=5
Update Interval=10
Obviously some of these settings have nothing to do with winds aloft but these are my settings and I'm not having any problems right now. I was getting regular updates and some pretty good sustained winds with strong gusts at altitude. |

Hey Rick! Thanks for the quik reply man!!
I've been using Activesky for about a month now without problems and have the same settings enabled that you do...on FS2002P though. But as of a couple of days ago it keeps telling me that the server is not responding and I should use 'offline' mode. Hmmmm. I haven't changed anything!?!?
I've checked out other forums and seems I'm not the only one? But no one has an answer...not even the ActiveSky Forum!?!
Just have to wait it out I guess...thanks for the help though!
