In the add attachment menu I clicked browse, then selected the picture I wanted. Then I clicked add Attachment and then submit. I could not get it to display the picture.

I will try again. Smile

Actually, a person can vote only once. Otherwise, you can have as many as you want vote for it on any given day.

Nobody has Control in this forum, so I can't edit your first post.

Looks pretty nice, but I think it might need to be moved forward a bit.

My effect was the fuel tank burning. And in WWI the pilot sat alittle more than half way forward on top of the tank.

Looks to far forward to even be the fuel tank.

It looks half way between the fuel tank and the engine.

Hmmmmmmmmm, that doesn't look to good for the pilot. Shocked
Cheers,

Post up the .cfg showing the effect. I believe you need to move the second set of numbers higher, as in forward, for it to be at the engine.

Here it is.

[SMOKESYSTEM]
smoke.0=0.00, -0.70, 1.40, fx_engFire
smoke.0=0.00, -0.70, 1.40, fx_engsmoke
smoke.0=0.00, -0.70, 1.40, fx_ForestFireSmoke
smoke.0=0.00, -1.70, 1.40, fx_engFire
smoke.0=0.00, +1.70, 2.40, fx_engFire

Thank you RD,

Fokker

First off, your smokesystem is all wrong....

[SMOKESYSTEM]
smoke.0=0.00, -0.70, 1.40, fx_engFire
smoke.0=0.00, -0.70, 1.40, fx_engsmoke
smoke.0=0.00, -0.70, 1.40, fx_ForestFireSmoke
smoke.0=0.00, -1.70, 1.40, fx_engFire
smoke.0=0.00, +1.70, 2.40, fx_engFire

You have to number them sequentially, as below.

[SMOKESYSTEM]
smoke.0=0.00, -0.70, 1.40, fx_engFire
smoke.1=0.00, -0.70, 1.40, fx_engsmoke
smoke.2=0.00, -0.70, 1.40, fx_ForestFireSmoke
smoke.3=0.00, -1.70, 1.40, fx_engFire
smoke.4=0.00, +1.70, 2.40, fx_engFire

Delete what you have, and paste the below in it's place, then post up a pic of it.

[SMOKESYSTEM]
smoke.0=0.00, 3.70, 1.40, fx_engFire
smoke.1=0.00, 3.70, 1.40, fx_engsmoke
smoke.2=0.00, 3.70, 1.40, fx_ForestFireSmoke

Try the above, and let me know.

Just post up the pics in your next post, no need for me to go all the way back to see them.

OK, seems the effect is farther back. So, change the second numbers to this " -5.50 " and post up another pic. Do this for all of them.
