I will let you all know the paint progress of njbb1995's paint job I am doing for him.

It is a paint for New Zealands A-4 Skyhawk.

The first pic is what is available.

The next two are what I have done so far.

As I do it, as time permits, I will post up pics of where I am on it.

RD

Just took a look at your shots....nice stuff RD, more real looking with your work and a much more agreeable shade of green, too! Look forward to more shots. Can you still do this nice work if you get all fat and drunk from all the JD and ice cream?!

EDIT: Wadda mean "if" Hark........... all that ice cream's gotta be taking it's toll. Laughing Mel.

LOL... That's how I do great paints. Freeze the brain with ice cream, and drink the JD to kill the pain.

If you think I do this with a clear head, you need yours checked. Twisted Evil

I also only have 6 hours of work on it so far. While the links were good, I found more. I want to make sure I do it right.

2 More teasers.....

Almost done.

When you get it, you will have throttle controlled custom A/B's.

If you notice, the tail number is for a one seater, this will be correct for a two seater. Oh yeah, notice the No Step boot marks on the bomb fins.

OK, I am done with this one. The two seater.

Next up is doing the one seater. And that one will be harder, and take more time.

Here's two pics of the finished two seater, and two of the one seater.

RD

PS: Almost done with a decent A/B effect for this bird.

OH MY....

Did alittle more searching for Njbb's A4 Skyhawk. http://motty.hobbyvista.com/A-4s-01/A4-Index-01.html

Funny what you can find if you search for it. Will start on the camo paint single seater in a few days, when things relax alittle.

Sorry, but I have a better use for latex............... Painting my house. Wink

Seriously though. I am making my own paint kit for this thing, so I can do a good job on the camo version. Right now, I am about 10% done with it (the paint kit). When the paint kit is done, I'll turn one into your latex version.

I can send you the one I have done, when you get home. But for the camo version, it will be a little while, sorry.
