| There is FSRepaint from Abacuspub.com, beyond that you need to do a lot of reading in the forum. Once you have some cogent questions we can begin to answer them. |

Okay, I use paint... Don't know if it's the easy way or not, but it works for SOME repaints. (some files don't open in paint.)
Hope this helps. |

| The files that you cant open directly with "paint" are extended images. You need DXTbmp to convert them to be editable in "paint" and then you can reconvert them to be saved back into FS. |

Depends on which one you get.
The first type of paintkit, has your a/c all in white. Usually a .bmp format. This way, all you have to do, is paint it.
The second type, is in PSD format with layers (I have seen PNG before). Here you get the white plane, and you paint it. But, you have to do it in a layer. Then put it below all the details, so you don't lose or cover them up. This is the best way to get an awesome paint kit.
The third way, is the long, tedious, time consuming way to do it. Take the paint kit in .bmp format. Then create new layers. Basically, all your doing, is going to do, is repaint the details of the a/c on each layer. One layer for windows, another for bodylines, maybe one just for the rivets. How many you make, is up to you, and how detailed you want it.
Also, check out these sites for tutorials:
http://www.projectopensky.com/files/index.php?dir=paint-resources/ You want the bottom two downloads.

All 3 of the above are great. The one below, actually have 3 or 4 Youtube video's to help you out.

Enjoy. And practice as much as you can. If you have any Adobe Photoshop programs, they work well. And the tools available, are priceless. You'll learn something new every time you experiment with them.
