Supposedly some have gotten it to work. But I can't. I have the CD version.

Anyone know how to make it work?

what exactly is yours doing for you to say that it is not working??

1. was it made for FSX?? (fsx uses different .XML coding than FS9 so some guages and effects may not be compatible)

2. are you putting it in the correct place? ?:/Program Files/Microsoft Games/Flight Simulator X / (simobjects/airplanes, gauges , effects , sounds)

McFly... Payware, right?
If it is... In the freeware version...The panel according to a review on search of AVSIM was based on a FS2002 design, and as far as I know that is not compatible with FSX at all.
I would seek those that got it to work and ask how and what was done... but we may be able to help further, depends on your description of what isn't working.
Also make the attempt to contact the burner of the CD you bought, the vendor and see what they know.

Welcome back Prop... A kinder gentler Prop as it were, and you asked most of the correct questions Very Happy

You can make it work with no problems. However, you have to do some tweaking first.

First you need to know what all is installed in FS9/FS2004 with the Scarebus. That means sounds, effects, etc.

Once you find all that out, write them down exactly as they are. Any thing that says gauges, don't worry about, you won't need them.

To get the plane ready to install, make a duplicate/copy of the aircraft folder. Then open it, and delete the panel.

Then, take that copied folder, and move it inside your FSX/SIMOBJECTS/AIRPLANES Folder. Then rename it as it is for FS9/FS2004.

Then take all the files, except gauges, and copy them from FS9 to where they belong to in FSX.

Now for the panel issue. Take whatever panel that is default to FSX that closely resembles the airbus one. Meaning make sure if it has 2 engines, you get a panel for two engines, and if 4, for 4 engines. OR You can look for a possible FSX compatible panel from AVSIM, or anyother site, and use it.

When you go to fly it, select yes for all questions.

That's pretty much all there is to do it. And while not using the original panel and gauges, you won't have any problems.

@ Propwash... Good call, except for effects. All effects in FS9 will work fine in FSX. Same with sounds.
