I got a problem with my AI flight i made. It all worked before, but i had always done it manualy and it worked fine. but one day i find a program caled yRoute (or something) to make flightplans. After i used this program to make flightplans, none of my AI traffic will work. (expect the orginal traffic)...

But i also changed accidently the aircraft CFG. files to open in Notepads. So now all the files have a picture off notepad insted of the "unknown" picture it was before...

(Dont know if this will have any issues with FS...)

Any help to fix this problem??

I have also reinstall FS and turn my PC couple of days back to change the notepad thing, but it did not work...

Moved, Mel.

The problem with the aircraft.cfg file is that you changed the file extension to .txt using notepad. Change the extension back to .cfg and that should fix it.

I'm not sure of a fix for your AI problem because your description is a little vague. Not sure what you did or were trying to do with YRoute, or how you made the initial flight plans.

The more details you can provide, the better.

I were trying to add more routes with the YRoute, but after i used it none of my flights worked...

I dont know how to change back the CFG files since i dont have a tool to open the CFG files... Or if it is another way to do it, i dont know how...

It's easy to change them back to .cfg.

Just right-click the file and rename, but only change the .txt back to .cfg

In the future when you want to open an aircraft.cfg file for viewing or editing, right-click it, open with, and select notepad making sure that the "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" box is NOT checked.

Post up a pic of the aircraft file, so we can see what it looks like.

Normally, if you change something with notepad, it does not change the extension. IE... From .cfg to .txt.

I would suggest that you delete this aircraft, and get it again, and reinstall it.

I would also delete, uninstall yroute at the same time. Yroute, if not used right, can create havoc on your flight plans.
