| maybe you could give us a brief description of what the plane is supposed to look like, because unless it's supposed to be something else, I'm just about in love with the way it looks now. That is odds on the wildest paint job I've seen yet, and before you do fix it, please save a copy of the texture file, i aint kiddin'.

no kidding..that is AWESOME!!!! Gotta be one of the coolest paint jobs I have seen on a plane ever. If those were colored spots, that would be the greatest 60's psychodelic plane ever.

The first 747-400 I repainted in Washington Redskins paint scheme using a PAI paint kit turned out the same way. Never figured out why. I found the pics:

| er, yes its one of the groovy paints of the 60's. Anyway, its supposed to be in airbus house colours. I also donloaded gulf air and the new lufthansa colours but they also turned this way. How can I fix it?

| This may be beacuse(if your using FS2004) its for FS2002 I think I have the same plane for FS2002 with house colours that may explain why its not working due to incompatibility.

please post the filenames for the aircraft and the texture sets so that I may analyze. Or, have you looked at the texture set files to see which specific aircraft they were initially made for. Many times textures available for download will only work with a single aircraft model, for example: "for use with *******'s anyplane" or "for use with *******.zip"only.
This is due to the .mdl file. The .mdl file contains the texture map, and dictates what part of the texture .bmp is drawn where in relation to the aircraft. Therefore, prepackaged textures made for gmax models wont work with fsds models and vice versa.
If you have already checked these details, then please advise which specific texture and aircraft by filename and I will be more than happy to investigate.

flightcraft-a340-600-basepack (basepack and house colours)

I foudnd my version at www.simviation.com:
http://www.simviation.com/fs2002jets38.htm
They seem the same to me so I will try and give them a shot in FS2004 and see if I get the same results as you do, If so then it must be down to incompatbility.
Try and E-Mail the author see if they have a fix/patch for this.
Thats should hopefully solve our problem.

OK, i've got to speed up things here. The first person to find out how to fix it gets a copy of this texture (it is rare!) OK, since im extremely kind (yeah right(!)) I will also give a copy to the second person to find out how to fix it.
