Please, I need to know where to find a FREE Repainting Kit. I`ve done a few ones with Photoshop but since FS2K2, this program didn“t help at all. I know there are a few ones but I need a FREE one. Guess there must be some of this stuff. I can do the work with Photoshop but at the time to save the files, something goes wild and the painting flies to hell. Have anybody something to advice? Sky7... Thank you!!!

here are a few forum posts that i know of to ponder over that may help you in some way::::

http://forums.surclaro.com/sutra73428.html&highlight=#73428

or just do a search in the forums for "REPAINT" and a wealth of knowledge will come up.

EDIT::: you may need DXTbmp to be able to convert your texture files to be edited FROM the simulator in your "photo editer" and to convert them back for FS9 to read.

Good call Propwash with the EDIT.

In order to paint in FS9, you need a texture convertor for the bmp files.

You can still use Photoshop, any version. But you have to have DXTBmp. Here is a link to it, and it is free. http://www.mnwright.btinternet.co.uk/

You can also get the FSRepaint demo version, and see what it looks like, before you can fly it. Also freeware, as it is a demo. Avaliable here, towards the bottom. Look for the Demo Version. http://www.abacuspub.com/fsd/repaint/rpgallery.htm
