If you use ObPlacerXML it will tell you which GUID is assigned to which object.

Or you could use ObPlacerXML with RWY12 ObjectPlacer and see everything.

In what libraries?

You need to be a little more clear as to what you are looking for. You keep switching from wanting info on one thing to something completely different.

I still have no idea what you are looking for. You say that the two objects listed above are not in the libraries...but they are. Look at lines 601 and 1369 in the xls file.

And then you post this which still doesn't clear anything up. Are you adding those objects to your FS and not seeing them? If so, either something is not right in your XML file (object location in FS LAT/LON coordinates) or you don't have your scenery settings set high enough to view ALL scenery objects.

Ok, I understand what you mean now. I tried to place both of those objects in my test area and neither showed up. I'm gonna mess with it some more later and see why it's doing that.

After doing a lot of searching through the FSDeveloper forum, I found that some library objects are apparently "geographically" locked in FS and can not be placed anywhere other than their initial location.

The objects you listed beginning with DFW and MIA are locked to the Dallas and Miami airports.

You also listed a P47D_Thunderbolt that won't show up either and I didn't find any info on that. I'm going to assume that it is also locked to a specific location for one reason or another.

It's not that weird from a developers stand point.

I don't know why MS would have locked any objects except to keep geographically recognizable objects where they belong (Eiffel Tower, Washington Monument, Leaning Tower of Pisa...)

I can see why a scenery developer might want to lock an object in a certain place to prevent others from using it in their own scenery works and possibly claiming it as their own.

All I can say is fire up gmax, build your own version of the object you want to place and go from there or get any one of the various scenery object programs available and pick something from their object libraries.
