I just found this thread and thought you all may enjoy it. I just tried it and more than doubled my frame rates. I can now get a steady 60-90fps. However, I still limit FS to 20 max, but the difference in the FEEL of the game now is amazing!!!!

Is there such a machine that could run fs9 with all settings MAXED and still have excellent framesrates (especially on a cloudy day)??

My machine averages 50+ fps. I run ALL my settings full and even on cloudy days in Los Angeles or NY, I can get 30+. My normal fps now is over 70 if I am flying.

Comp is a dual processor 3.1 ghz with 2 gigs ram and ATI 9800 Pro with 128megs.
