| Yes, you can use all of FSRepaints features, you just cant save them in demo mode. Once you have selected a texture to edit. In the edit window at the top right you will see a "pencil" an "eye" and two little overlapping squares. The pencil and eye have two on/off switches after them. One for the normal bitmap and another for the alpha bitmap. You should only have the first one (normal) bitmap turned "on", if you have the second or "alpha" button turned on your edits would extend to the alpha or "transparency" layer and mess up your edit. The "eye" refers to what you are seeing in the edit window. Same thing as the "pencil", one button for normal bitmap and another for alpha bitmap. Depending on which one is turned on, you will see either the normal bitmap or the alpha/transparency bitmap. The two overlapping squares are your main and background color selections. To change them you click on the square or color you want to change and use the color selection window. The little "back and forth" arrows to the top right of the color selection squares changes the main and background colors back and forth. |

| Well, easy is relative (and I dont mean one of my cousins). The standard process of open in DXTbmp, export to editor, edit/save, import from editor and finally save from DXTbmp to FS is pretty much the only way to go for maximum flexibility in editing. There really is no other method save for FSRepaint whereby it can be done. |
