| Finally got the thing to fly eventually . Won't stay airborne keeps wanting to land .Never heard a Beverly with four Cessna engines .I often wonder if these planemakers test fly their aircraft or listen to them. BP

Sounds like the Aircraft.cfg file needs tweeking on the engines, either that, or the spark plugs need changing....
RD or GS would be good to ask on that problem.
Mel.

Hi Mel .Got the beast to fly by taking off with auto-pilot engaged and altitude and heading buttons pressed it then flies good .Nohow can I get rid of the Cessna panel or get the Cetaurus sounds .Even after stealing another panel and sounds ,nothing changes. BP

Ummm, Sorry BP.
I have a major problem, and will have to uninstall and reinstall my FS9.

Hi RD , Got the 2002 version to fly reasonably using the auto-pilot engaged for take-off .Then I did a manual landing and a go-around in which it became airborne good even after slowing right down ,but from a standing start it takes for ever to get airborne ,if then.
I got the Update installed with the 47 squadron aircraft and got Centaurus engine sounds but I still couldn't find the Beverley panel. Then when I tried to fly the thing it crashed my computer every time ,Black screen and send to microsoft label. So at present I am flying using the 2002 version ,Cessna panel and Cessna sounds . Have you ever heard a four engined Cessna ???. Thanks for listening . Have you any friends who can design a Blackburn Beverley from scratch for FS2004 with engine cowl gills and wing flaps that work .BP

Hey BP,
Started playing with your Blackburn. I can get it to take off with 2 notches of flaps, no problem.
The panel sucks on this thing. So, do you mind if the panel is aircraft specific/correct. If not, then I can send you the package I have set up. The engine sound is also good, and sounds old school.
As for animations, the flaps do move. But noticed on the 2nd notch of flaps, it looks like a full flaps down. Nothing I can do about this part.
Let me know what you think.
RD

| Hi Brian, Does the model at York fly for real ,or why was it built .Did it have engines in it . Did you find any history of it . The Scorpion emblem shows it was an RAF 84 squadron aircraft. Also in the background is a Lancaster with the H2S radar dome underneath . Interesting. BP
