Hello
I downloaded and installed an F-22 addon( get it here: http://www.simviation.com/fsxmilitary8.htm ) and installed. The problem is that when i click on select aircraft, it replaces other aircrafts and uses thier thumbnails. Does anybody know how to fix this?

I dont quite understand what you mean by "replaces other aircrafts".

i had this same problem

check the texture folder in the aircraft folder. If there is not a JPEG with the name "thumbnail," that is your problem- you must add one

the problem is because some addons are just updated FS9 addons, and the developer didnt put a thumbnail in- aircraft in FS9 didnt need thumbnails because they were selected via a dropdown menu.

To make a thumbnail, pick any sized rectangle image of the plane(the one on the site you downloaded it from is the one i used), name it "thumbnail", and copy it into EVERY texture folder in the desired aircraft's folder. Then, your menu should have the thumbnails you made representing the aircraft you want them to.
