Hi guys -

I've recently downloaded some Project Opensky 767's and I'm finding a common, problematic trait among them (first off, they're great planes - the modelling and paints are exceptional - so I'm no negative critic here) - The problem is the pitch attitude/angle of attack during climbing and cruise - I'd say, beyond 25, 000 ft the airplane's pitch increases dramatically (and I've tried climb rates of 1000, 500, and even 200 fpm) but the problem persists. Throttles are set full, flaps are up, airspeed is over 300 KIAS, but the thing is tilting nose up some 30 degrees or more. (I've increased the thrust level to help with takeoffs, but cruise remains a problem)

Once I manage to settle it into cruise at mach .80, autopilot and autothrottle set, the plane remains pitched in a very unnatural way. None of my other FS widebodies and narrows, learjets, etc, do this, and so there's something happening in the 767's aircraft config file...me thinks.

I've checked out the POSky website, and there's some reference to a nose pitch problem, but only a reply saying that changing the static pitch in the config file WILL DO NOTHING.

If that won't fix the problem, does anybody have a clue as to what will (Project Opensky....????)

Lookin forward to any suggestions you may have,

Kyred

I had the same prpblem when I was flying the MS 737 for the first time. For some reason I could not get the jet to accellerate to cruise speed and it also had difficulty reacing cruise altitude as well. The problem persist in maunual and autopilot. Around FL180, the angle of attack was around 25 degree just to maintain altitude and the speed was bearly abouve 300. I thought it was a bug or something until I saw that the autospoiler handle was down. After locking up, the jet performance improved and the widebody didnt look like I was attempting a Blue Angles lowspeed manuver.
