First of all I am sorry for my bad English. Wanted news of Ole Egholm or aircraft design group of www.fsteam.dk to get recent mail address of him.

Designer of Gmax Piper PA-28-140 Cherokee, v1.0 published on AVSIM for Fs2004

http://www.flightsimulatorx.it/upload/files/pa2814oe.gif

this aircraf resembles Cherokee I-BIAT based in Aeroclub of Biella Cerrione Airport.

http://www.flightsimulatorx.it/upload/files/BIAT.jpg

On Flight Simulator 2004 version, with a simple graphical transparencies the cover, of whells disappear but in Flight Simulator X this trick not working, and create graphic problems. I hope found Ole Egholm for request modify on original GMAX source files for release a model where gears are not covered.

Best regard

Hi,

Fsteam.dk closed for more years ago, unfortunately.
You can try to reach Ole on this adress: ole@egholmweb.dk

If it doesn't work out, let me know and I'll see what I can do to get you in touch with him.

Cheers.

I hope you can find some other reference because it is necessary to work directly on the source file for the change I want to do.

May I suggest you give him time to answer your email, it has only been one hour since Behrentzs posted it up for you.

I would at least wait 72 hours for any reply. If by then, you have not heard, then try another route.

Mel.

Dear MEL

I have already tried to send him directly my request but I received the following response:

Da MAILER-DAEMON@smtp2.aruba.it
Data 18/04/08 2:33:42 pm
A coordinamento@flightsimulatorx.it
Oggetto failure notice

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at smtp2.aruba.it.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses. This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

<ole@egholmweb.dk>:
195.128.174.71 does not like recipient.
Remote host said: 550 5.1.1 <ole@egholmweb.dk>: Recipient address rejected: User
unknown in virtual mailbox table
Giving up on 195.128.174.71.

Tested with another address found into an old README.TXT

<fs@egholmweb.dk>:
195.128.174.71 does not like recipient.

That means that that email address is no longer valid. Please try another one. LOL

Sorry, but it looks like there is no way to contact him through the obvious. There may be a way, if you can find more of his work. Run his name through AVSIM in the author's box, and see what you can find.

Sorry for the secon post.

Is your only problem with the plane, is that the contact points of the wheels are below the surface??

If so, then let us know. It may be a simple fix that we can do here. But we need a link to the original plane, as you have it.

Tanks rd but the problem is not the contact points below the surface ....

See the photo of Cherokee I-BIAT based at LILE Airport not have the cover on whells ....

I wanted conctact Ole Egholm to change the original GMAX design project for achieve a model identical to I-BIAT.

Patiently await any information on his delivery ....

Sorry about that, misunderstood what you needed.

Have you tried this plane (3rd one down) http://www.surclaro.com/download.php?op=search&query= Add this in the box "piper cherokee"

The paint looks ok, but could be better. Let me know if this works for you or not. Also, don't use the panel that is included. Use a FSX default Cessna panel.

RD

Thanks RD but sure this is a working model on FSX? To see it in photos seems to Fs2002 therefore does not have the virtual cockpit. You can give me the direct link ?

I tried to seek him as "piper cherokee" but does not appear on the list unless they involve "pa28_140.zip" Category: FS95 --> FS2002 Aircraft: Propellers.

Many thanks appearance confident of finding Ole Egholm ....

I know RD means for you to search on AVSIM.com for Ole Egholm.
I just did and there is one addition that came up atr72static.zip, this was posted 25th March 2008 credit is given to Ole Egholm for helping to lower the polygon count. You might have some luck checking with Claus Vendelboe Holmberg to see if he can put you in contact with Ole.
