Hi Guys,

I am here to tell you about a new type of virtual airport, present all you can usually do is fly and earn your rank and that is ok for just fun but what we are developing is a completly functional site and servers which are completly free to all our users and basically you can chose your career at British International Virtual Airport. The financial system we will use isnt chosen yet so you'll have to bare with us. Very Happy

This is for all the virtual airlines as the aim is that you fly for the virtual airline on our serves if they dont have one and then collect money for . Our main civil terminal hosts its own 24/7 game and teamspeak server so there is always a place for you to fly. If your interested about being hubbed with us post below.

This is going to be the first of its kind and will offer all members depending on their job a virtual salary (when), you can create a reference and many more extra's which im not going to tell you about at the moment. Along with the completly virtual environment you will be able to buy a house and customize it to your desire but you must be careful not to need a loan from the airline bank.

At the moment we are still creating the modules for the airport so you will have to bare with us until it is done which shouldn't be long. We are looking for people to take high positions such as flight plan managing, virtual airline manager, flight director, air traffic control supervisors, board members, customer support leaders, maintenance managers...any alot more. The site will be posted below below as soon as it is up.

We have alot of work done already and all that is left is that the downloads which will have around 5000 aircraft and utilities in. Also the interactive side of the servers so there is still a bit to go.

We have professional ATCO's and pilots and also the ocasional flyer or just a general aviationist. So come and join today and help us expand to be the best virtual aviation community on the net.

Please post any comments below and any suggestions are welcome, we hope to have everyones support. Please post below if you think it is a good, ok or bad idea as since this is such a big project we need everyones ideas.

Harry,
From what I have seen, this looks like a wonderful idea. As much as I enjoy virtual flying, I have always wanted to get into the business side of an airline or an airport (virtually speaking). This could develop into just such an opportunity.
