BP, there are some WAV files on discs 1 & 2.
I have the whole of the 4 discs mapped out in XLS Format, (Excel), file size is 7.18mb, if it's any use to you, I could get it up on YouSendit.
Mel.

That's actually the way it's supposed to be unless you downloaded a sound package from somewhere else.
Most of the 747's have their sound files aliased to the 737-400.

Let me know when you find it. I say that because looking for default 747 sound is a snipe hunt. MS uses 737 sound for practically everything airliner. You could call it FS-ketchup If you want authentic sound you will have to find some quality sounds related to engine type. Just remember, detailed sound sets can impact frame rates as well.

Okay, this is what I did to find the file.
I went to Surclaro.com. Then in the, "Select Category" section I went to, "FS2004 Sounds". Here I again choose, "FS2004 sounds" underneath the search input field. Now I ask it to search for, "GE". (Without the: " " )
Once the results are returned at the top should be: cf680c2b.zip
This file has a description starting with: General Electric CF6-80E1A Soundset for FS2002-FS2004.
I used that one, and it works nicely.
