44790, "GPS Font now in italics?!"
You know all the yellow text in the GPS receiver, well, it's now in italics, it definitely didn't used to be this way.
I've narrowed it down to perhaps the installation of XP SP3.
Question is, what is the font used? Making sure that font is on my system should be enough. Although it doesn't bother me that much, I would still like to try and fix it.
Mike...

Hi, someone posted an item stating his network connections had changed after installing SP3, here's a reason.BP
Another SP3 Problem: Device Manager Empty and/or Network icons gone
It appears that many people are having the same problem with XP Service Pack 2: after installing on some systems, the Device Manager doesn't display your devices and/or the icons in Network Connections disappear. Folks have reported that removing SP3 doesn't fix the problem, nor does system restore. This appears to be due to corruption in certain registry keys. This is popping up all over the discussion forums. Read more (including a fix that has worked for some) here:

Confirmed... Garmin GPS test is now italic. I have not had any of the problems that these folks are reporting.
A word to the wise though, if it ain't broke don't fix it with this SP 3 update. |

NO SH*T....
Sorry, couldn't resist.
Like I said in the problems with SP3 thread, I kept up with the updates, that suited me, and/or was needed.
When SP3 was released, I already knew of a couple possible problems with it, that would effect me. So I didn't get it.<-- Thanks for sharing slapnutz
But, I did not expect to see all the problems I have seen. And not just here, but other forums that I go to daily.
And believe it or not, they are working on two patches, not one, that I posted about earlier.
