I noticed today when I started playing fs9 and trying to taxi I only had full or half throttle when trying to return the throttle from full.. When going throw control panel and looking at the axis it seems to be working fine on there but in Flight sim 9 it has this issue.. Anyone know how to fix it.

P.S.
Sorry for posting in wrong part of the forum could someone move the post for me thanks.

Do you have FSUIPC installed and registered? I prefer to use it for in game control settings. I have found that the Saitek profiler can be quite a nuisance at times. Check to see if Saitek is attempting to run a profile for FS, is so then turn it off and recalibrate then restart FS and see what happens. In any case, you really cant beat having FSUIPC.

Did you start up FS and go into the Modules/FSUIPC drop down menu, navigate to the controls tab and center your stick settings? Did you read the help section? The advanced features are only available in a registered version. Also, I would try uninstalling the profiler program and use windows/FS to set up with. Also, make sure all the stick settings are neutral and delete the Fs9.cfg file, then start FS and let it write a new default cfg file.

I dont have the settings like that in my fsupic and it says something about buying fsupic, but at the moment I cannot afford it. I have reinstalled the drivers, even going as far as doing a system restore to an earlier point so there was no drivers and software, Ive gone threw regedit ot get rid of hte drivers as well. threw control panel it works excellent, but it only has this issue in fs2004 which is really weird.

Did you delete the Fs9.cfg and restart the sim to write a clean default .cfg?

C:\Documents and settings\(your user name)\Application data\Microsoft\FS9\Fs9.cfg

Also check in the Fs9 settings to see that your controller is properly recognized by the sim.

Yeah the controller axis are all reconized perfectly in the fs9, but I just reinstalled again and still have hte issue, but xplane is fine as well as falcon 4. If someone that has a x52 sent me their cfg would that possibly fix my issue?

Have you by chance saved a flight?

If you have, start sim and set up a new flight. If you have left the throttle open it will save that positional setting. Make sure the throttle is closed, all the way closed, and try it again.

I noticed that you said you reinstalled 'FS again. You dont have to keep reinstalling it. You were only to have deleted the Fs9.cfg file. This restores all the settings to default. Does the controller ID say saitek x52 in the FS settings menu?

What are the settings for the "throttle" axis in FS? Also, what is the throttle assigned to in the joystick assignments menu. Is it actually assigned to the x52's throttle?
