My rudders are getting old and the potentiometer is starting to bad. I have used electronic cleaner on it but the pot is still noisy.
I was wondering if anyone knew the value, in ohms, of the pot, or even any identifing numbers it might have on it?
Thanks. |

Well I can help U with that, bit I'd need some pictures of the pedals first. I think it is ussually 100 Kohm if used in full range. But it is very tricky. I'm making my own throttle quadrant for two engines, spoilers, and stab 7 rudder trim. And four programmable buttons. I once fixed a joystick online, that was fun. We set up a video conference, and the frien on the other side was my eyes and hands, and I was the brains! Worked like a charm, it only requires two web cameras, I have one, but do you have oen aswell.
Tip: buy a cheap AVO meter, it is worth the price, a few bicks or so, and U can check the resistace of the pots yourself.
