I am just wondering is there any way to know which Service Pack is installed for FSX? Also.. I wanted to know what is the purpose for each Service Pack and what its for exactly and Which Service Pack is the most updated for FSX?
Im just trying to get a better understanding of what the Service Pack is . |

| i do know that SP2 updates FSX to work better with DX10 Video Cards, and that SP2 is the latest update; as it is a basic component of the Accelleration extension pack. |

So the SP2 update is mainly for the Accelleration extension pack??
Also, when you say DX10 video cards, are you saying Direct X 10? for new graphics cards?
Cuz i only thought Direct X 10 was only avalible for Windows Vista and not XP ??
I have a Nvidia Geforce 7950 GT Graphics Card. |

If you have the acceleration version, you do not need SP2.
SP2 is for cards that are DX10 and VISTA compatible.
Your Nvidia Geforce 7950 GT Graphics Card is not compatible for SP2.
