i know 400 dollars won't get me much. but it seemed like when i had a computer that had agp in it. and a 512mb agp video card all my agp games ran as smooth as could be. it was jer nor slow.

Keep in mind AGP is old technology. The reason why you thought AGP was better is because traditional PCI is slower than AGP.

Define AGP games? Games can play on any graphics card. It just depends on the performance you will get out of it. On a traditional PCI video card, the performance will be less. On AGP, it will be higher, and on PCI-Express, it will be even higher.

well there was no need to yell. i know that. but if you want an agp game to work properly you would need an agp graphics card. because games that say it needs agp on the box for the system requirements do not work properly on a pci card. i know this because i have tried it.PCI is superior to AGP, later technology!

I'm not talking about PCI.

No new computers will sell AGP. They are all PCI-Express, which is different from AGP or traditional PCI.

You can go onto eBay and look for a motherboard with AGP, but you won't find any in retail stores or online retail that sell AGP motherboards.

Any game will be able to run on a PCI-Express video card provided that the system is powerful enough.
