Hi:
RD, you have helped a great deal in the past perhaps you will be willing to help a bit more.
I finally have allt he tools to repaint and have finally completed a few of them, but they wont appear on the airplane. The texture is just grey. I have read a re-read the instructions I downloaded from somewhere and they are very detailed. I have followed them to a T.
So I dont know what I am doing wrong. The repaints are STRICTLY for personal use. I download the aircraft type I want then repaint with a new texture. I have also download repaint kits but still nothing appears. Can you help or just simply tell me to find a new hobby.

are you sure you reconvert them?
Example:
I have a texture, but it has to be converted to 24bit from extended bitmap
i convert it and paint it
then i reconverted it from 24 to extended.
are you sure you reconverted them? |

There's a few reasons why they show gray instead of painted.
Are you using DXTBmp as your converter to do the paints??
Can you post a pic of your a/c .cfg, and then a pic of your aircraft folder showing all your folders, including textures. If the a/c .cfg isn't named exactly as the texture, this would be one reason why.

RD:
Sorry for the delay with my response, things have been somewhat hectic and have not had much time. If its okay with you I would like to email you the work I've done, it is incomplete, I have been having a heck of a time finnishing parts of the fuselage, specifically the nose area with curves and the tail with rectangles for the logo. Maybe you can help, then I can start working on making the new livery appear.
