Well, I guess I ought to consider kicking my 'air carrier' scenery set out the door. I lost all my source files a while back, so there's really nothing else I can do to these models. I'm happy that these objects were done by the time I killed my hard drive.
Luckily, I had sent the set off to RD for some feedback some time before the hardware meltdown, so I got them back. (Whew, thanks bud, a lot of imagination and work went into these big ships.)
They are compiled over RD's KOFF airport, in a manner that shouldn't obstruct air traffic.
If you're not familiar with me and my whacky FS stuff, I built two distinctly different airborne, futuristic aircraft carriers.
There are 5 ships in the set. The two carriers; the USS Steve Hinson and the HMS Geddy Lee. Close to the two carriers is a small defender, and a ways behind and above that set is a big destroyer, escorting a civilian luxury liner.
I lost the .XML's for these, so the set is only over KOFF at this point, but there is a separate .BGL for each ship, so if you use a decompile tool, you should be able to place each ship wherever you like in FS2004. (I think that's how that works.) If you can't be bothered tooling with them, and you do like the set, at least there are some decent KOFF scenery enhancements out there to compliment this 'airborne' scenery.
There were some cool engine glow effects for the ships, but I still need to see if they are amongst the stuff I received from RD.
I'll probably go the SurClaro/Simviation route for uploading. (It's interesting watching the d'load numbers from two sites...ten times as many 'Airbikes' were grabbed from Simviation. )
I'll look at the last details & packaging and keep you informed of release time.

What if you were to make it move. like a regular carrier?
I have always wanted to do something like that, but it seems like you have beat me too it.
It would be cool to be sitting at DIA and see this thing coming over the horizon at 150 knots.
