| I think one day Microsoft will put wicked crash and damage effects back in and I think one day they're going to wallop us all with a feature that we never really figured they would do. And I don't mean the enhanced scenery and environment stuff that's been hinted at. And it may not be for a version or two, they'll wait 'till they get it right, then without a hint or a leak or anything it'll hit the shelves with orbital flight or moon landings or an included totally user friendly aircraft designer program or weapons and AI enemies or something else totally innovative. Or I could be wrong. |

the best thing i want to see in microsoft flight simulator is to be more realistic. add new features like:
1-moving passengers in and out of a plane after or before a flight.
2-moving follow me car rather than progressive taxi
3-working pushback trucks to push the airplane u will be flying
4-moving ground crew
5-baggage trucks, fuel trucks should move to the plane and start their respective duties
6-have something like one character the pilot of course whom you control to the plane and out of the plane just like Grand Theft auto.
7- have the 2 pilots and air crew move to the plane and out of the plane.
i think thats the microsoft flight simulator we are all looking for. it will become very realistic rather than flying to ghosts airports in the current FSs |

There have been alot of changes... if you are new to the flight sim... then you might want to see where it all started... and then add to where you might want to see it go to. I would love to see some of the following...
1. More natural and national/worldwide landmarks. Example...
Waterfalls... Angel falls Venezuela - Tallest waterfall in the world.
Disneyland... California - Where did it go?
Devil's Tower... Wyoming - Not Devil's Mound!!!
Christ Statue... Rio De Janeiro - Where did he go?
These are just a few I would like to see added. Also would be nice to see traffic of some sort on the roads at low altitudes. More trees and bushes would also be nice. Any more great ideas? Below is a link you can go to where you can see where it all began and where it currently is... the page appears to be under construction but still will make you very much appriciative of what you see today in the Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Hi! Sandpiper, the Christ Statue and more in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, already exists built by scenery makers. I think that several sceneries enthusiasts realize more realistic sceneries than Microsoft FS staff, with all due respect!
Visit this great Rio scenery at http://www.worldsceneries.com/novosite/V_3_ws/V_3_eg/wonderfulrio.htm
If itīs possible, I wold like to see in the next FS more realistic condictions like air pressure, density and temperature, turbulence effects at low altitude (due thermic waves), gust of wind, turbulences' tracks when the aircraft passes through clouds, sea and rivers fluid movement.
For the time being itīs only! |

I would like it if atc was able to respond to emergencies. That would be awsome. I would be low on fuel and atc would get me to a alternate airport quick.

| Have you got any racetracks? The reason I ask is that I have seen more than one available as freeware scenery downloads on some FS sites while searching around. Saw a later update to one that added pretty decent looking Nascar cars if I remember correctly. Sorry, my memory for that stuff stinks so you'll have to do some searchin' if you haven't already found them. |

I know that i am going to be shot for this.... but oh well. I know that FS9/2004 is NOT FC-FS (flight combat - flight sim ) but i would like to see what Military fighters you can download for it be able to "lock on" to and launch air-to-air / air-to-ground missles at AI craft on the ground or in the air... that would be so fun to be able to do......
ALSO, an ATC that is "user voice" interactive (granted this would involve the user to undergo MULTIPLE hours of training the computer to recognize the users voice patterns.... but just being able to litterally TALK to ATC would be a huge step.
i have so many i ideas on things that i would like to see that i would end up filling up probably 12 pages in Microsoft Word, so i will just stick with those 2, maybe a third... MORE guages and panels for aircraft, since 3/4 of the craft i have do not have custom gagues, panels, special effects, 3d virtual cockpits, etc etc etc. |

We all know FS is limited to detail. Might as well go fly a "real" plane for a full experience. Frame rates are always good, more realistic weather and traffic. Hell, you even get the whooshes in your stomach when u try and scare someone in the back seat with a little dive |

I absolutely hate how in FS2004 when you overstress the plane, crash into a building or hit the ground the plane just stops. It doesn't do anything.
If you overstress the plane the plane would just stop in mid-air looking completely unrealistic.

The ability to "park" all of favorite a/c on the tarmac of "home" airport and then be able to click on one to start up engines and taxi it out around the other favorites and take off.... Land it taxi back shut off engines and choose another favorite to fly....

| I have been into fs from day 1 and even back to the original flight sims that were on the sinclair zx81 (showing my age now) but with the advent of better graphics and faster speeds it would be nice to see a menu to allow multi screen use as well as multi-pc so not just networked pc's but single pc with multiple monitors and the support to go with it i.e. full cockpit displays that can run across both monitors for true 3D views |
