Ok...after telling you all forever to lock your frame rates, there IS a reason to set it to unlimitted.

Seems, after tons of testing and benchmarking, that the information I have given you all, and was given to me that you SHOULD lock your frame rates is wrong. Well, partially.

Does it give you better CPU performance...YES. However, if you set your frame rate to unlimitted, you lose some cpu usage, but you GAIN better graphics loading.

Apparently, when you set it to unlimitted, the 'pieces' of terrain load faster. Just wanted to pass this along...

Thanks for the tip! I guess what it boils down to is one's own personal taste, eh?

If you limit the frames, you still get better FPS, right?
But if you set them to unlimited you get better graphics loading, but poorer FPS... That's how i understand it... I've got my FPS limited to 17 or 20 i think...(flies very smooth) i don't think anything but a new video card would help my graphics at this point... d'oh!
